Our Harbourside Campus
Our harbourside campus is vibrant, welcoming and full of life.
We are located on the picturesque Kirribilli peninsula of Sydney Harbour's northern shore, overlooking Careening Cove and Neutral Bay.
The campus is ideally placed for public transport, with Milsons Point train station, bus stops and ferry wharves within easy walking distance.
The Junior and Senior Schools are both situated on the same campus, sharing many of the school’s excellent facilities.
But we must not linger here in the beautiful bush - but go and see the new Loreto in North Sydney. The community from Fern Hill took possession of this property last Christmas. It is beautifully situated on the side of a hill overlooking Neutral Bay, the grounds sloping down to the water. The view from the verandah and upper windows is exquisite, looking out towards the Pacific Ocean and the "Heads", - great rocks at the entrance to the harbour between which the American Fleet passed.

Our facilities include:
- Our beautiful Chapel with its landmark tower. For many years our Chapel was the highest point on the Kirribilli peninsula, and was used by sailors for maritime navigation
- New Spiritus featuring a range of dynamic, versatile learning spaces and studios
- State-of-the-art Science Laboratories
- Centenary Hall which accommodates 1,200 people
- Fully equipped music rooms and private music tutorial rooms
- Drama spaces, including Auditorium for full productions
- Specialist Technological & Applied Studies (TAS) rooms, including facilities for jewellery making, textiles and design, model making, woodwork and food technology
- Visual Arts spaces, including photography room and kiln, dedicated art room in the Junior School
- Gymnasium and outdoor tennis courts
- Junior and Senior School libraries
- 'Secret Garden' for Kindergarten outdoor, play-based learning
Loreto Kirribilli has called Carabella Street home since 1908. The original historic house, 'Elamang', with its wide stone verandah and sweeping views of the Harbour, is still part of our campus today.
