Student Agency
Empowering students to use their gifts in loving and responsible service.
Over 400 years ago our foundress Mary Ward said, "Women in time to come will do much." The example she set of selfless leadership in the service of others, and her courage and conviction in the face of adversity, continue to inspire generations of Loreto Kirribilli women today .
Our Junior School leaders give voice to the the student body. We have a number positions of responsibility across Year groups, Houses and in the Student Representative Council.
The Captain and Vice Captain are the student leaders of the Junior School. Their role is to lead the Student Representative Council as well as represent the school at public occasions.
The House Captains of Barry, Heaton, Milson and Ward play a pivotal role in leading their Houses during annual events such as the Athletics and Swimming Carnivals as well as through weekly responsibilities at assemblies and other areas of school life.

The Student Representative Council is elected twice a year to represent the student body. With two representatives from each year, the students meet regularly to discuss initiatives and share ideas.
At Loreto Kirribilli we recognise that leadership plays a crucial role in learning respect for self and respect for others. Our young leaders take up these roles of service to others with creativity and enthusiasm.
