LK Connect: Women in the Legal Profession

LK Connect Women in the Legal Profession, generously hosted by Herbert Smith Freehills and instigated by Loreto Kirribilli Board member and parent, Tony Damian, was an engaging evening hearing from ex-students who have forged a career in law.Start writing your content here...

Anna Sutherland (’80), facilitator, set the tone and direction for discussion during the evening, and what an interesting discussion it was! The ex-student panel of Sarah Kenny (’81), Kate Lloyd (’14), Amy Tesoriero (’15) and Madeline Gelagin (’18) shared their expertise and insights on their journey in the legal profession. These inspirational ex-students spoke passionately about their educational foundation at Loreto Kirribilli, highlighting wonderful memories of friendships, opportunities, and laughter during their time here at school with immense pride. They emphasised the sense of strength and resilience they formed, and the importance of the values learnt which continue to shape their career paths.

Our panellists reiterated the value of mentorship and imparted words of wisdom for our current students and younger graduates, to invest in themselves through ongoing education and embracing opportunities as they are presented.

We are always looking for opportunities to connect with companies that might be interested in hosting a future LK Connect event. Should you be interested in discussing this opportunity further, please contact us .
