As 2023 drew to a close, Loreto Kirribilli farewelled our much-loved Principal, Mrs Anna Dickinson.
The Loreto Kirribilli community celebrated Mrs Dickinson’s contribution to and extraordinary leadership of our School at various events during Term 4, including a whole school Thanksgiving Mass. At this joy-filled Mass in Centenary Hall, we came together to reflect and give thanks for Mrs Dickinson’s 42-year career in the teaching profession and her ten years at our School. Ms Sheila McGregor, Chair of the Loreto Kirribilli Board, thanked Mrs Dickinson for her untiring service in the role of Principal, reflecting on the traits that made her such an exceptional leader.
During Mrs Dickinson’s formal address to the congregation, she praised the school spirit that is so much a part of Loreto Kirribilli culture.
Loreto Kirribilli is a school where the spirit to give your best is part of the culture. This culture creates confident young women willing and able to use their gifts to follow in the footsteps of the Loreto Sisters, as 'seekers of truth and doers of justice'. I am so grateful that I was given the blessed responsibility of being a custodian of this culture.
We wish Mrs Dickinson the very best for her future endeavours, while warmly welcoming Dr Nicole Archard as Principal from the commencement of 2024.
